GCSE Geography: Exploring the Causes and Effects of Earthquakes

Earthquakes are natural disasters that can occur with devastating consequences. GCSE Geography explores the causes, effects and responses to earthquakes, as well as prediction, protection and preparation. In this course, we will be looking at earthquakes from a GCSE Geography perspective, including examining case studies of the Christchurch 2011 and Haiti 2010 earthquakes. We will also discuss the various ways to predict, protect and prepare against the dangers of earthquakes.
