​Janie’s Mobile School adheres to its mission of providing quality education through affordable online tutorial services. The core competencies of our tutor is subject-based teaching, having solid experience in conducting lessons through distance learning programs. We provide high quality education through modules based on a specific subject with a small price tag. We foster discussions and help create relationships with our students. We nurture the thirst for knowledge – and this speaks true of what we value most, learning.

About Us

Janie’s Mobile School is dedicated, hardworking and a reliable tutor who places learning above everything else. Formed in year as a response to the growing need for non-traditional learning that promotes self-discovery, knowledge construction, group-based discussions, transformational and independent learning, which is beneficial to students who want to exercise their flexibility and options on what to learn.
 
We employ the best teaching methods done online through our virtual classroom on zoom. Our modules are created in a friendly and engaging manner to capture the student’s interest. We cultivate the passion of understanding the world around, giving us more motivation to teach.

What are the requirements for the computer unit (PC/MAC) should I meet?

Your computer must meet the following system requirements in order to run the Virtual Classroom software:
 
  • Anything you connect to the internet on. Preferrably a laptop or computer, as the screen is larger for better viewing of classwork.

What are the available time slot for the online tutorial facility?

Janie is available Monday through Friday evenings, as well as school holidays

What Materials are required for Online Lessons?

Materials the student needs to supply for their private online lessons:

Exercise books – lined with margin for English

                               7mm squared for maths

Janie can recommend the best exercise books upon enrollment.

Also required to bring to all lessons:

                              pens

                              pencils

                              ruler

                              rubber

Calculators will not be required for all lessons. (Students will be notified if they need to bring one to lessons)

What subjects can I enroll in?

We offer tutorial services in maths and English, but other core subjects can be taught on request. Our proficient tutor can teach you from the subject fundamentals to exam preparations.

How can I contact a tutor?

You can enrol you child with Janie’s Mobile by contacting them through Facebook page Messenger.

How can I reserve a slot for my tutorial session?

You will need to contact Janie via https://www.facebook.com/JaniesMobileSchool/ to get information on available slots, and they do not stay available for long.

Do I get the same tutor every time?

Janie is the only tutor you will ever see during your online lessons.

Do I undergo written examinations?

Janie’s Mobile School does give out periodical tests from time to time to assess learning.
 

What are the applicable membership fees upon signing?

Prices vary for private one-to-one tutoring, but membership classrooms are open at certain times of the year for remote learning priced at £20 per month.

Can I cancel my membership any time?

You can cancel your membership or services with Janie at any given time.
 
All we ask is that you give one month’s notice, and pay for one final month before your contract with Janie’s Mobile School ends.
 
If you are cancelling a classroom membership, you are advised to stay in the membership for at least 6 months to get the full benefit. If you wish to cancel, please notify Janie after 5 months.

Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

Janie’s Mobile School is an online tutorial service offered to its clients referred to as “the student”, as a flexible and affordable means to education. Janie’s Mobile School shall conduct its tutorial classes through its virtual classroom using https://zoom.us software that must be installed in the Student’s working computer to ensure uninterrupted sessions.

2. Scope of Service

We will be able to connect with our students through zoom. The Student must provide his/her computer, internet connection and must create his/her own account in order to access the tutorial services.
 
In relation, the Services we provide shall be made available five days a week throughout the year.

4. Payments

You can choose packages from our classroom membership plans. Payments will be made through Stripe via our website.

Please note: The above regards our membership classroom, an not private online lesson.

Private lessons are paid monthly through bank transfer. First month’s payment is paid upfront to secure the slot.

5. User Content

Any material, information or communication you upload using our facility will be treated as confidential. Lessons available to you must not be shared with any other third party.

The actual private sessions of the tutorials will NOT be recorded.

6. Modifications of the Service

We may add, modify or disable some of the existing features in the online classroom. We reserve the right to change or discontinue the service from time to time to make room for maintenance procedures or upgrade of system/facilities. We will not be held liable for any changes or modifications we deem necessary for the improvement of the overall site features.

7. Termination of Service

Once you have complied with the terms stated above, you can cancel either your membership or Private Online Tuition any time.
