    The human heart is an organ that is vital for survival and is composed of several components with very specific functions. It is responsible for pumping blood throughout the body and is constantly working to keep the body healthy. Today we will discuss the anatomy of the heart, its functions, the circulatory system, blood vessels, blood pressure, the cardiac cycle, electrical activity and various diseases and disorders that can affect the heart, including heart attack, stroke and cardiomyopathy.
